Indonesia’s composite index (IHSG) closed 2.03% lower at 6,956.80, dragged down by a global “risk‑off” mood and domestic pressures such as free‑float constraints, HSC and index rebalancing; the LQ45 basket fell 2.16% to 669.34. All eleven sector indices slipped, led by infrastructure (‑2.54%), raw‑materials (‑2.43%) and industrials (‑2.39%); the biggest decliners were BOBA, KONI, MAIN, LUCK and BLUE, while the top gainers were SDMU, HERO, ADHI, INDS and SONA. The fall reflects defensive foreign investors and a lack of clear catalyst, leaving the market vulnerable to further sideways or weaker moves.

BearishAntara Bursa26 Mar

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed 1.89% lower at 7,164.09, dragging the LQ45 sub‑index down 1.97% as Asian markets fell amid heightened uncertainty over U.S.–Iran cease‑fire talks and rising oil prices. The biggest losers were DEFI, ROCK, INDS, ICON and ARTA, while AYLS, KUAS, TALF, SSTM and SOTS posted the strongest gains; ten sectors, led by energy, industrials and basic materials, fell, reflecting foreign‑fund outflows and a shift toward defensive and commodity‑linked stocks. The decline underscores broader regional pressure from geopolitical tension, weaker rupiah and concerns that higher energy costs could delay global interest‑rate cuts.
